Yeah I remember my freshman year and when the first snow came. I was so excited to see the white glistening powder over everything. And of course when all my friends found out that I hadn't really been around snow, they decided to hit me with snow balls every chance they got. It was really fun....for the first few weeks. Then it got wicked cold, and I thought I was crazy for coming here. But over the years I've gotten used to it. I just hate it when the sun doesn't come out for a few days. I'm friends with a freshman from California. She was super excited when it snowed the other night. She came to rehearsal screaming, "I love snow!" Its cool to see her so excited. Reminds me of myself. She is complaining how cold it is already. We all just laughed to ourselves and told her that its gets much colder.
I thought that assignment 7 was difficult. I'm not really sure if I did it right either. It was an interesting assignment though and I'm curious about everyones poems. Workshop will be fun. Also, in general, workshop has been interesting. It's cool to hear about everyones experiences. I will also have to agree that the whole class workshop was pretty intimidating. I was really nervous when it was my time to go. It ended up not being that bad though. I think I just got used to reading my groups poems and I was comfortable with them. It was nice to read poems from the other group though. It's interesting how everyone has there own style. Our class has some great ideas as well.
