whole class workshops

It is interesting to see the difference between our whole class workshop and the little workshops. It seems more intimidating to speak, especially the first day we did the workshop on Tuesday. It is also interesting to hear the different ways people comment on poems from the other group. Everyone reads poems differently and therefore has very different things to say about them. I like and dislike the whole class workshop. I like hearing everyone's opinions, but I also feel more comfortable in the smaller group. It has definitely been fun to read everyone's poetry. It is really fun to have that insight into a person's thought process. Everyone thinks in their own way and typically their poetry reflects that.

Also, I like getting the feedback from everyone. Having written feedback is nice to refer back to when writing the next assignments. Even people who don't speak out about people's poems in class still have good written feedback to share. I think the discussion and written feedback make a total analysis. 

I have really enjoyed learning about everyone's experiences or feelings or creative talent by reading these poems.
