So I would have to agree with you guys about stanely moss. I was pretty surprised at the things he said in class. Especially how he attacked meredith and alex. You two were so brave. The entire time I thought "please don't call on me. please don't call on me."I had an idea in my mind what he was going to be like after we had read some of his poems. I was pretty dissapointed after having our class with him. I think the most interesting part would have been hearing about his life. I really wish he had talked about that more. Oh and I was also surprised when he just read his poems at the reading. He didn't talk about anything really or give us advice. The only point he really wanted to get across is that true poetry is being honest with your dark side. I can see why he would say this but i don't believe its all poetry is. I feel like he is really set in his ways. He didn't even listen to what people in our class were saying or consider ideas we brought up. The hard part is that I really like his poems. Even though he is a mean old man, he's good at writing. I have to give him that. He would make a bad teacher though. Reminds me of being in high school. A number of my teachers either left us with the book and expected us to learn everything on our own. Or they would do a problem on the board, not explain it, and expect us to know how to do all the other problems. Thinking back on how upseting it was it was pretty entertaining to watch. Makes me laugh now. Oh old man stanley moss!
