reiterate

i completely understand. ren a nd stimpy was a crucial part of my child hood along with rocko. rugrats and doug were also large shows in my life. but ren and stimpy and rocko defintly have some adult themes but are portrayed in a childish comical way. the children shows nowadays really bother me. they dont seem to have that adult factor, they are purely childish. i feel like theres no possible way for me to watch them and enjoy them. spongebob is an exception, in the movie there was a scene were spongebob and patrick go to the icecream bar and they eat cup fter cup of ice cream, but with each cup they eat, its portrayed as alcohol and they are gettin hammered. as a childs point of view they might be kind of confused and be goofy and impersonate their goofy behavior but i was kinda surprised when i saw that scene int eh movie about them gettin drunk. then in the morning after they looked like crap and were ridiculously hung over. the shows today i feel are about educational value, which can be done in a cartoon but i dont feel like anyone has actually made a good educational cartoon. also the cartoon artists in so many shows simplify their characters like the show the fairly odd parents. every character looks too much alike. its almost as if they took a few blank silhouettes of bodies and put diferent faces in. in rocko's modern life, every character has similar attributes or style, but hefer and rocko look incredibly different and so do all of the characters.
